Children/Young Adult Arts Workshop
"Express Yourself" a youth art workshop, will be held Monday though Friday, 9am to 2pm, August 18th – 22nd. The focus will be on the discovery and expression of one's self through visual and performing arts including sketching, collage, improvisation, mask making, journaling, movement, and music. This workshop is intended for children and youth ages 6 to 15.

Tuition is $160 which includes a snack and all materials. Make checks payable to the Winona Arts Center and send to 228 East 5th Street. Registration deadline is August 11th. Participants will need to bring a lunch.

Instructors are Alison DeNio and Shari Schuh. This is their third year promoting self awareness through the arts. For more information, contact Shari at 507 458-1407.

Doing Art Outdoors
Saturday, June 21
Artists from the Winona Area will meet at the Winona Arts Center.  Then they will go to locations along the Mississippi and use their watercolors, pencils, pastels, oils, or any other medium to capture some of the beauty, squalor, nature, or architecture that surrounds us. 

Artists are asked to bring their own materials, chairs, umbrellas, lunch, etc.  After doing art outdoors we will meet back at the Arts Center at 12:30 and show our work.  If there is interest in doing other sessions, we will set up future dates. 

In case of rain we will meet at the Arts Center and make art indoors.
