Vinyassa Flow Yoga

Tish has been an active student and teacher of Yoga for more than 5 years, with emphasis on Vinyassa Flow, until recently when she participated in an Alignment & Anatomy workshop. She is currently enrolled as a student in an Iyengar class, and teaches a Vinyassa Flow class at Winona’s YMCA. This is the second year she will be offering Yoga for the Arts Center.

Please wear comfortable clothing, dress in layers and bring a Yoga mat if you have one and 2-3 firm blankets or towels.


Mosiac Art : Open Mosaic Studio

($60.00 + $25.00 Materials fee)

Participants will have the opportunity to create 2D and/or 3D glass tile and hand-cut glass mosaics. Class fee includes glass materials for one mosaic. Additional mosaics may be completed for an extra materials cost. A variety of bases and forms will be available for purchase, or students can bring their own. In addition, participants may elect to purchase the special tile nippers for cutting the tiles. Previous mosaic experience helpful, but not required. 14 and older.

For those who wish to purchase the mosaic nippers we will be placing an order for students during the workshop. Cost approximately $25 (we'll be hunting for a bargain). There will be some tools available for using during the workshop.


Carousel Books

A carousel book can be viewed section by section and also opened fully to create a book in the round. The carousel or star book derives it’s name from the way it looks when it’s open. Each page spread is a little theater, ready for pictures and text. Students will make models and also construct their own carousel books using their own drawings, photographs, rubber stamps, collages, etc. Adults please.
